The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are promoting a campaign on the legal requirement for asbestos awareness training and quote the following :

“All workers liable to disturb asbestos during their normal working duties should be suitably trained so that they can recognise asbestos containing materials and know what to do if they come across them.”

Non Licensed Contractors Training (HSG210)

This 1 day course is for delegates who will carry out limited work with non-licensable asbestos products. The course covers asbestos awareness then concentrates on the practical skills required.

The course length varies depending on the type and number of products that the client requires training on.

Due to updates to the Control of Asbestos regulations, many non-licensed activities will now require to be notified to the HSE. Workers will also be subject to 3 yearly medical examinations by a certified doctor. Our non-licensed contractors training course will cover this new legislation.
