Acron initially assisted the client a number of years ago in relation to advice regarding asbestos. Following this advice, Acron were asked to survey the Ship and update the existing asbestos information.
Following this survey, a new asbestos register and cloud based asbestos information were produced. In conjunction with the client, risk assessments and a phased asbestos removal schedule were created.
Acron also trained key staff members and refresh this training on an annual basis whilst managing asbestos.
Various asbestos surveys, asbestos removal and remediation works continue throughout the ships lifecycle to allow safe management of the vessel.
Acron consultants are available 24hrs to assist staff members and can access live, shared information wherever the ship may be.
